FIRE BAN LIFTED
(AS OF MAY 31st, 2018)
GIVEN THE RECENT RAIN IN THE REGION,PARKLAND COUNTY HAS LIFTED THE FIRE RESTRICTIONS IN THEIR MUNICIPALITY. IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR REGIONAL PARTNER AND FIRE SERVICE PROVIDER, THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF KAPASIWIN HAS ALSO LIFTED ITS FIRE BAN AND RESIDENTS MAY RESUME BURNING UNDER THE NORMAL BURING RULES, EFFECTIVE AS OF MAY 31st, 2018 7:00 P.M.
PLEASE STAY POSTED FOR FURTHER CHANGES TO THE FIRE BAN STATUS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER.

FOOTPATH INFORMATION FROM THE AIM
To help facilitate the continued discussion on the Footpath Easement associated with many of the properties in the Village, Council circulated a Message to the Villagers on this topic during the 2016 Annual Information Meeting. Council's message is attached below for reference. Also attached is a memo prepared by Denny Thomas which is referenced in Council's message and gives additional context to the discussion.
